Spring “Is” Coming…

Winter’s cold windy days and snow showers have been around for quite awhile!

But, Spring Is Coming…

Spring "Is" Coming...!
Spring “Is” Coming…!

Continuing Down the Path…

Life is definitely a journey down a path with seemingly one direction, but with lots of twists and turns!

And occasionally it has forks in the road that require us to make changes and decisions on which direction to choose! Sometimes that is just not easy is it?

At other times, it can actually be fun and just part of a process…Since 2016 began, it has been very busy here in the studio! First, I finished and delivered a large commission. Then it was time to reorganize, straighten-up, and begin new projects….

Have you noticed!? The website has a new look.…with more changes to come!  Please feel free to roam around and explore!

Also, there is now a Sign-up in the sidebar for anyone who would like to receive the new “From the Studio of Joni Beach” newsletter…  Be a VIP~ first to see glimpses of new works-in-progress, to be aware of upcoming exhibits & happenings, and to know when new art will be available!

So I am continuing to journey down my path…twisting, turning, and making some changes along the way…and enjoying and celebrating life every time possible!

Autumn Transitions

The chilly air, the change in the colors of the sunlight, as well as all the trees’ leaves, signals that summer has ended and autumn has arrived in the mountainsides that surrounds us here.

Summertime had its own pace, with plans all its own….I’m just now getting caught-up, organized and back to a regular routine. But, it gave me time to gather new ideas & experiences..for inspiration and renewal!

My art quilt,  A Different Perspective, was exhibited in June at the Sacred Threads 2015 Exhibit in Herndon, VA (outside of Washington D.C.)   This exhibit focuses on art quilts of artists “who see their work as a connection to the sacred and/or as an expression of their spiritual journey”.

The art quilts had themes of joy, spirituality, peace/brotherhood, inspiration, grief, or healing. My piece was part of the category of Inspiration.

It was exciting to have this work accepted and shown in this venue.  Enjoy!  🙂
