Autumn Transitions
The chilly air, the change in the colors of the sunlight, as well as all the trees’ leaves, signals that summer has ended and autumn has arrived in the mountainsides that surrounds us here.
Summertime had its own pace, with plans all its own….I’m just now getting caught-up, organized and back to a regular routine. But, it gave me timeĀ to gather new ideas & experiences..for inspiration and renewal!
My art quilt, Ā A Different Perspective,Ā was exhibitedĀ in JuneĀ atĀ the Sacred Threads 2015 Exhibit inĀ Herndon, VA (outside of Washington D.C.) Ā Ā This exhibit focuses on art quilts of artists “who see their work as a connection to the sacred and/or as an expression of their spiritual journey”.
The art quilts had themes of joy, spirituality, peace/brotherhood, inspiration, grief, or healing. My piece was part of the category of Inspiration.
