While walking in the Fall, each year I look for the first colored leaves that I can find…
On a walk one Autumn day, I found these 3 leaves~the first of the season! By tracing the actual leaves, the shapes were cut from autumny colored fabrics, fused into place, and using threadpainting and quilt-stitching texture and movement was added to the design!
Reminiscent of the wonderfully colored leaves gently falling to the earth!
